All new hunters must take a Hunters Safety Course. The course for Pennsylvania can be found for free on the NRA Website:
Non-Resident Texas License
The Non-Resident License in Texas for Banded Bird Hunting is $27.50 compared to the $105 PA Non-Resident License.
You can apply for the license at the following link: Texas License Connection
You will need to check to see if you have an existing account (you will not), then you will make an account and buy the license.
After you create your account and pay for the license, you will get a customer number. Please keep track of that, you will need it for your Hunter’s Safety Course.
Once you have the customer number, take the free online hunters safety course by the NRA for the state of Texas, found here: Hunters Education State List – NRA
